I had ChatGPT use my original resume to build two more resume tailored to the specific job. First I had ChatGPT make one for a accounting positions and my prompt was, “Rewrite my resume to highlight my skills and experience relevant to accounting positions. Focus on quantifiable achievements and use keywords commonly found in accounting job descriptions.” It spaced things out more making my resume look more complete along with adding skills that reflect the accounting position.75 My next prompt was, “Now using the original resume make me another resume for a district manager position with grocery outlet and make sure to highlight my skills and spotlight my experience with the company“. I feel like this prompt resulted in a better resume maybe that’s because i actually have time with the company I’m not sure but it did add to my experiences already listed along with adding education portion at the end above my skills.
